Banpingshan frequently since 2021, the first specimens of this species were found there only in 2024, since then the species is regularly found and locally can be common. The species was described from a city park in Guangzhou City in southern China in 2025<sup>[[#ref5\|[5]]]</sup> - the species may hence be more widespread in urban areas, and we cannot exclude that it was introduced to Taiwan only recently.
